Amanda Holden found herself cut in half by a Britain’s Got Talent act this weekend.
Tonight saw the penultimate round of auditions for this year’s new series.
Amanda wAs joined by Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell behind the judges’ desk with Ant & Dec watching on from the sidelines.
From this week acts needed three or more yeses to get through to the next round with the golden buzzers all used up.
One of the acts we met this evening was magician 15-year-old Dan Rhodes from Manchester.
Dan told the judges: “Britain’s Got Talent is the best show in the world in my opinion and I wanted to come on, perform my magic and try to take it to the next level.”
“What you’re about to see has never been seen on British television before,” he added, “What I’m about to do is a trick that I actually invented myself.
“I didn’t have the budget to do an amazing illusion so I made one myself.”
He asked Amanda Holden to join him on stage where he invited her to lay down in a home-made contraption made out of cardboard.
Dan then proceeded to cut Amanda in half after revealing his magic ‘wand’ – an electric saw.
Fortunately, Dan magically put her back together again after making sure she was going to give him a yes.
The teenager and his home-made tricks won over the judges and got him a place in the next round.

Other acts on Britain’s Got Talent this weekend are cheeky dance duo Libby and Charlie and the Truro Cathedral Choir who sing for the judges, performing a cover of Can You Feel The Love Tonight?
Plus, there’s a surprise proposal from one act as they take to the stage to audition.
We also meet Dr Dance, who wants to get the whole nation on their feet, and 31-year-old singer Leanne Mya from London.
The Britain’s Got Talent 2019 live shows begin next week from Monday, May 27.
