Tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent 2018 results are in with another two acts making it through to final.
Acrobats the Giang Brothers and comedy singer Micky P Kerr are the next last of the confirmed finalists on Britain’s Got Talent 2018 this year.
The BGT 2018 semi-finalists were unveiled by the judges on Saturday and tonight saw the first of five semi-finals.
After thousands applied and hundreds auditioned for the judges all around the UK, the lucky few who received three or more yeses were whittled down to the final 35 acts who join this year’s five golden buzzers.
The final 40 perform in the Britain’s Got Talent live semi- finals all this week in the hope of winning the public vote and securing an all-important place in the live grand final and the chance of winning a life changing £250,000 and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance.
Each evening two acts will make the final but this year it won’t just be down to the viewers. The act with the highest public vote will automatically go into the final while the judges will decide between the second and third placed acts as to who will join them.
Performing tonight were comedy singer Micky P Kerr, Rat Pack singers Dennis DeMille and Marvin Muoneke, singer Father Ray Kelly, acrobatic duo Giang Brothers, cake eating opera singer Sarah Llewellyn, boy band Bring It North, comedy magician Mandy Muden and dancing youngsters Lexie and Christopher.
In the results, host Dec first revealed the top three acts from the public vote as Giang Brothers, Micky P Kerr and Mandy Muden.
Dec then announced the winner of the semi-final with the most votes and automatically through to the final as Micky P Kerr.
That left Mandy and the Giang Brothers facing the judges vote.
Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon voted for the Giang Brothers while Amanda Holden and David Waliams voted for Mandy
Therefore, with the judges’ vote tied, the result went back to the public vote.
Dec then revealed that, with the most votes of the two, Giang Brothers were going through to the final.
Giang Brothers and Micky join dancers DVJ, father and son singing duo Tim and Jack, comedian Robert White, singer Gruffydd Wyn Roberts, singer Donchez Dacres, singer Calum Courtney, comedian Lost Voice Guy and the D-Day Darlings in the final.
The finalists will be joined by an eleventh wild card, chosen by the judges.
The total of 11 acts will go head to head in the grand finale on SUNDAY night, June 3.
