The Britain’s Got Talent 2018 judges were reportedly told off after getting involved with a barmy PLATE-SMASHING act at the weekend – while hosts Ant and Dec were forced to put out a FIRE.
The ITV talent contest is currently filming auditions for its upcoming twelfth series, set to hit our screens this Spring.
It could feature one of the craziest try-outs ever after one session reportedly descended in to chaos at the weekend.
According to the Mirror, a Greek man named Bambas appeared before the audience at the London Palladium to show off his plate-smashing act.
The judges soon decided they wanted a go, and went on stage to destroy some of the crockery.
Bambas then tried to balance a glass of flames on his head. However, things took a potentially dangerous turn when he lost control and the glass slipped off.
Fortunately, Ant and Dec were able to extinguish the fire when they ran on stage with some water.
As if there hadn’t been enough mayhem, Simon Cowell then picked up the judges’ mugs and hurled them on stage.
Producers were apparently horrified as the drinks flew everywhere, and gave the panel a telling off afterwards.
The newspaper quotes Amanda Holden as saying: “Oh dear. I think we’re going to get grounded.”
David Walliams supposedly added: “Well, that got slightly out of hand.”
A BGT source commented: “We are used to all sorts happening on the show, but this really was the most crazy audition we have ever seen.
“The mess took ages to clear up.”
As always, we’ll have to wait until the show airs to find out if Bambas won the required three yesses.
The drama came after the BGT stars caused a stir on the London Underground by taking a Tube to the auditions.
Last week also saw David bag his second Best TV Judge gong at the National Television Awards.
