Brendan Cole lands a high paying new job after Strictly Come Dancing exit

Brendan Cole has landed a high paying new gig following his Strictly Come Dancing exit.

The former pro dance will be swapping the Paso for Panto this Christmas.

Brendan will make his pantomime debut in this year’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Wycombe Swan.

The show runs between December 7 and 30 and will star Brendan in the lead role of Prince Charming.

The venue teases: “This year’s panto will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery.

“Throw in a magical Mirror, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and plenty of audience participation as we outwit the Wicked Queen and let love prevail in this glittering festive treat for all ages.”

According to The Sun, Brendan stands to scoop £150,00 for his three week stint.

The tabloid claims that’s three-times his old yearly Strictly fee.

Brendan revealed he wouldn’t be returning to Strictly back in January after 14 years on the show.

“They’ve made an editorial decision not to have me back on the show,” one of the show’s original pros told ITV’s Lorraine. “I’m in shock. I got a phone call. I’ve had 15 incredible series.”

Brendan admitted: “I’m disappointed. I’ve always known this day would come. I’m a very strong character, some don’t like that.

“I’ve never been contracted for more than one year. I still wanted to be part of it. My passion is still very much there.”

The BBC said in a statement: “We’d like to thank Brendan Cole for being part of the show since the beginning – winner of the first series – and for the contribution he has made to its success.

“We wish him all the very best for the future.”

Strictly returns to BBC One in the autumn.
