When does Big Brother start on TV?

Big Brother is coming back to UK TV this year – here’s all you need to know about the show’s return in 2023.

The hit reality series will come back after five years with a rebooted run on ITV2.

A cast of housemates from all walks of life will be locked up in a brand new Big Brother house with cameras capturing their every move.

Tasks, nominations and live evictions will be back, as well as a cash prize for the winner.

When will Big Brother be back on TV?

The new series of Big Brother was originally scheduled to launch in March 2023 however it has now been revealed to begin in the autumn.

Big Brother will launch on Sunday, 8 October at 9PM across ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.

The new series will air nightly for six weeks on ITV2 and new streaming service ITVX.

Who will be hosting?

After plenty of rumours, AJ Odudu and Will Best have been officially announced as the new hosts of Big Brother.

They’ll host both the main show and a nightly spin-off, presiding over the weekly evictions and quizzing housemates on all of the goings on in the world’s most famous house.

AJ said: “I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn’t be happier.”

Will said: “I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can’t wait to tell some housemates not to swear.”

Will there be live feed?

There’s good news for super fans of BBUK with the show’s iconic live feed set to return each evening live the ITVX streaming platform.

It allows fans to tune in and watch the housemates 24/7 throughout the series and was a big part of the show in its earlier years.

Sorry, Applications for the new series for Big Brother are now CLOSED! You need to be at least 18-years-old and be available for eight weeks next Spring.
