BBC Children In Need Rocks The 80s airs tonight but who’s performing and when does it start?
BBC Children In Need Rocks The 80s starts tonight at 8:30PM on BBC One with a 90 minute musical special.
A-ha, Bananarama, Boy George, Erasure, Europe, Imagination Featuring Leee John, Jason Donovan, Katrina from Katrina & The Waves, Louisa Johnson, Mica Paris, Nick Heyward, OMD and UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey, will take to the stage at The SSE Arena, Wembley to perform some of the most iconic hits from the 1980s.
The star-studded line up will transport viewers back to the era in a glittering celebration of the decade in which BBC Children in Need’s first major appeal took place.
Hosted by Fearne Cotton and Sara Cox, with Roman Kemp capturing all the excitement backstage, the show will also share moving stories from some of the children and young people who have been supported by projects funded by BBC Children in Need, as the charity aims to raise more money to help change young lives through this year’s Appeal.
The programme will be broadcast during BBC Children in Need Appeal Week on BBC One.
Also starting tonight for Children In Need week is The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge For BBC Children In Need.

Tess Daly, Graham Norton, Mel Giedroyc, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle and Marvin Humes guide viewers through a night of dazzling entertainment and aim to raise millions of pounds for BBC Children In Need.
