Aston Merrygold to QUIT Strictly Come Dancing?!

Aston Merrygold says he’ll walk out of Strictly Come Dancing if his girlfriend goes into labour.

The dad-to-be is awaiting the arrival of his first child with girlfriend Sarah Richards, who is due in the coming weeks.

JLS star Aston is desperate to be at the birth – even if it means QUITTING Strictly.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “If I got to the final it would be amazing, it would be great, but what if suddenly her waters broke?”

“If that happens then I’m not going to finish the dance. I’ll be straight out, grab the bag, let’s go. I’m prepared.”

He added: “I’ve got a great support network around me and I’m getting a lot of advice. At the moment I am not getting much sleep as there is not much room in the bed.

“I’m trying to juggle between Strictly and keeping Sarah happy.”

For now, Aston is prepping for tonight’s latest results show.

Surprise scoring from the judges and unpredictable viewer voting has left the competition wide open.

Even favourites like Aston could be at risk after he finished second from bottom in the latest leaderboard.

Alongside Aston and Ruth Langsford in the bottom half of the scoreboard last night were Gemma Atkinson and Jonnie Peacock, who could potentially find themselves in the dance off for the first time.

Meanwhile, Mollie King is also at risk again after ranking middle of the scores. A well known dangerous place to be, Mollie was in the dance off last week for the first time but was saved by the judges.
