The Apprentice 2017 candidates branded the ‘worst ever’ by viewers

The Apprentice 2017 candidates have been branded the ‘worst ever’ by viewers.

In yesterday evening’s show, the candidates were summoned to Stoke Park, an impressive five-star hotel, where Lord Sugar made a grand entrance via helicopter to reveal the second task facing the budding entrepreneurs.

The candidates were given the opportunity to let their creative juices flow and try their hand at interior design as they were tasked with making over a bedroom, before pitching their finished design to the hotel manager and an industry expert.

Each had a budget of £13,000 to not only makeover the room but also turn a profit and win the potential business of the hotel.

Lord Sugar had plenty to criticise about both teams’ rooms, with NEITHER winning the task in the eyes of the hotel.

The boss ended up declaring the Girls’ Team Graphene as the winners, although Lord Sugar told the group not to get too excited about the victory – “It’s not a case of I liked it more, I hated it less.”

On Twitter, viewers didn’t hold back.

Pointless host Richard Osman‏ was one of those to take aim at the contestants, tweeting: “This might genuinely be the most embarrassing episode of #TheApprentice of all time.”

Another viewer remarked: “#TheApprentice Where do they get these people from for show.!! Absolutely hopeless all of them this year!! Claude Littner star of the show.”

A third simply said: “Naaa Lord Sugar should fire them all #theapprentice”

And one viewer concluded: “based on this episode, everyone needs to be fired + we need to start the series again #TheApprentice”

Assuming that doesn’t happen, The Apprentice 2017 will be back next Wednesday night on BBC One.
