Amy Marie Borg one to watch on Britain’s Got Talent after amazing audition

Amy Marie Borg proved one to watch on Britain’s Got Talent 2018 tonight.

As the auditions continued we met Amy Marie Borg, a 16-year-old student from Malta.

“My biggest supporters are my mum dad and brother and they’re all here to support me today,” Amy said in tonight’s show. “I’m really excited to see the judges and I hope they like my singing.”

Amy previously appeared on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as one of the 20 National Finalists.

“I’m excited, nervous and scared,” she admitted backstage. “When I walk out on stage today and I hope I don’t faint.”

On stage, Amy told the judges she’s been singing for three years before bursting into a powerful rendition of Nella Fantasia.

“You genuinely filled the room, it was glorious,” said Simon Cowell.

“You just completely entranced us all with your voice,” agreed David Walliams.

Alesha Dixon added: “You transformed, it was so beautiful.

“I can’t believe the maturity of your voice, you did yourself proud and your parents proud,” said Amanda Holden.

With four yeses, Amy is through to the next round.

But will she make it into the live shows? Time will tell!

Other acts this weekend included comedy magician Mandy Muden, alien dancers Baba Yega young ballroom duo Lexie and Christopher.

As always, acts needed three or more yeses to make it through to the next round and potentially on to the live shows.

Making up the judging panel this year once more are Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

Meanwhile, hosts Ant and Dec will be present for the auditions, watching on from the sidelines with a comforting hug whatever the result.
