Aleksandar Mileusnic impressed Simon Cowell with his voice on Britain’s Got Talent 2018 tonight.
As auditions continued tonight we met 23-year-old council worker and singer Aleksandar from Stevenage.
The nervous performer introduces himself to the judges, saying he’d been singing since 17.
“When I was 18 I did a few things, I gave it a try but it’s hard,” he said.
Aleksandar told cameras: “I’m extremely nervous because it has been a while since I’ve done anything on this level.
“I know I appear to be pretty laid back but inside butterflies… no, not even butterflies, elephants are stampeding everywhere.”
Appearing on the show with his pregnant partner, Aleksandar added: “Finding out we were expecting was a massive blessing. I hope to do alright because I think it will help a lot towards our family.
“I want to give my new family the best life I can give them. I want to make them proud”
He performed a swing version of ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes and got four yeses through to the next round.
“You’ve certainly seduced me,” David Walliams reacted.
You do have the sweetest tone,” Alesha Dixon addes.
“And it helps that you’re cute!” quipped Amanda Holden.
Simon Cowell concluded: “This was so clever what you did, I actually feel I’m witnessing a star being born in front of me.”
Other acts in tonight’s episode included exam invigilator Noel James who performed a stand-up routine.
Donchez Dacres took to the stage with his original song ‘Wiggle Wine’, 90-year-old Audrey Leybourne sang a ‘I Want To Be Loved By You’ accompanied by piano and The D-Day Darlings performed ‘We’ll Meet Again’ by Vera Lynn.
Britain’s Got Talent continued Saturday 5th May at 8.00pm on ITV.
