X Factor’s Leon Mallett has a “wobble” over tonight’s song choice

X Factor’s Leon Mallett has confessed to having doubts over this week’s song choice.

14 finalists remain in the competition after the opening weekend saw two contestants given the boot.

At least two more acts are expected to leave this weekend as the finalists sing over Saturday and Sunday night once again in their categories.

However this week there’s a slight change.

This time around the Boys and Groups are first up on Saturday while the Girls and Overs will sing on the Sunday evening with this week’s Viva Latino theme.

Ahead of his performance on Saturday evening, Boys’ Wild Card competitor Leon has admitted to being unsure of his song choice.

For the new ‘Viva Latino’ theme, Leon will be singing a remix of Get Lucky by Daft Punk.

But he admitted today: “I’ve just gone over my song and I’m feeling a lot better about it now. Earlier on in the week I was having a bit of a wobble.”

Speaking in his latest X Factor diary, Leon added: “I didn’t really like it but now I’ve gone over with with the vocal coaches and stuff and I feel a ot better about it now and I can’t wait to perform.”

Once again this week, at the end of each live show a public vote will decide which one act is immediately given the boot with the bottom two sing-off axed.

Instead, the acts who top Saturday and Sunday’s vote face off in a new ‘prize fight’ to win a special reward.

The X Factor 2017 continues this evening Saturday at 8:20PM and Sunday night at 7:05PM on ITV.

Guest stars will be BGT winner Tokio Myers on the Saturday and Rita Ora on the Sunday.
