X Factor boy band lose a member just before their audition

An X Factor boy group lose a member just before their audition in tonight’s show.

In this evening’s episode, try outs move to Manchester with guest judge Alesha Dixon alongside Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.

Boybanned are made up of Scott (28 – student nurse) and Ben (27 – joiner) are a boyband from Nottingham. Up until the morning of the audition they used to be a trio, but third member Jack decided not to audition.

In the audition room, the pair tell the judges how they were a trio as of the morning have been together for over a year.

“It was all planned, all rehearsals, all harmonies sorted, all dance move then… bang. Bombshell,” they said.

Despite losing a member, BoyBanned reckon there’s a gap in the market for them.

They promise something “totally different” before singing Backstreet Boys’ Everybody.

Will they both make it through to bootcamp?

Tune in to The X Factor this Sunday night at 8PM on ITV to watch the auditions and the judges’ reactions.

Another group taking part this evening is Just Us, made up of retired friends Anna-Maria (67) and Carol (70), who want to prove “whatever your age, you can still make your dreams come true”.

Also at the auditions as a pair – but auditioning sepertely – are best pals from Blackpool Johnny Wright and Jenny Ball. The friends currently sing in pubs and clubs together but go solo with individual auditions in front of the judges.

The X Factor 2017 airs tonight at 8PM on ITV.
