TV presenter Michaela Strachan won’t appear on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
The telly host is famous for fronting wildlife shows including The Really Wild Show, Springwatch and Autumnwatch.
It’s therefore perhaps no surprise to learn that conservationist Michaela would refuse to appear on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
She told BANG! Showbiz (via The List): “I couldn’t do that, we wouldn’t be eating the animals we’d be championing them!”
However there is one reality show Michaela would go on, saying she’d love to compete in Strictly Come Dancing alongside her fellow Springwatch presenter Chris Packham.
“I would like me and Chris to both go on Strictly Come Dancing on the same year and compete and that’s because I know it would be the one thing that I would be so much better than him at!” she said.
While Michaela may be ruled out, many other names are said to be up for I’m A Celeb this year.
They include The Saturdays’ singer Vanessa White, Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson, reality star Gemma Collins and Tattoo Fixers star Paisley Billings.
Also tipped to appear are former rugby player Ben Cohen MBE, Taekwondo champ Jade Jones, The Only Way Is Essex’s Danielle Armstrong, Big Brother’s Nikki Grahame and Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas.
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2017 will start on ITV in the autumn.
The show, hosted by Ant and Dec, typically begins in November.
