Who won The Apprentice 2018 was revealed tonight as we went into the final with two candidates remaining.
In Wednesday evening’s show, the remaining few candidates were given 24 hours to brush up on their business plans before facing the formidable interview process.
As is tradition on The Apprentice, in the penultimate show the final five each got a grilling from four of Lord Sugar’s trusted advisors, Claude Littner, Claudine Collins, Mike Soutar and Linda Plant.
After hearing from the interviewers, Lord Sugar made his final decision and it was Daniel Elahi, Khadija Kalifa and Sabrina Stocker who were all sent packing.
Those that survived were Camilla Ainsworth and Sian Gabbidon and it was Sian who was crowned The Apprentice 2018 winner this Sunday night.
Previously, in the interviews, first to be fired was Sabrina, with Lord Sugar telling her: “I’m struggling with the scalability of your business. For me, I don’t see it. I’m going to be pretty blunt, you’re very bouncy, bubbly and you’re going to go somewhere but it’s not going to be with me this time.”
Lord Sugar then let Khadija go: “You’re a hard working lady who likes to talk up for yourself but I don’t see it, so best of luck for the future but regretfully you’re fired.”
Finally, Daniel was given the boot: “I have to think about who’s going to be a successful business partner with me. Apart from the business, you’re investing in a person. I can’t invest in you, unfortunately you’re fired.”
Left going head to head for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment were Camilla and Sian.
In The Apprentice 2018 final on Sunday night, Lord Sugar informed them that their final task was to launch their business to create a brand and unveil their campaign, in front of a packed audience full of industry experts at the venue the City Hall in a few days’ time.
As usual, some of the fired candidates returned to help out as the final two prepare to pitch their business plans in all their glory.
Camilla was hoping to expand on her current nut milk business, selling her dairy free grab and go drink.
Meanwhile, Sian’s business plan was looking to launch an affordable premium range of pool party swimwear.
It was then back to the boardroom for the final time where business plans were evaluated and ad campaigns assessed, but there could only be one winner of The Apprentice 2018.
In the final episode, Lord Sugar named Sian as his new business partner.
The Apprentice airs on BBC One.
