Lost Voice Guy has been crowned the Britain’s Got Talent 2018 winner in tonight’s final results.
The twelfth series of Britain’s Got Talent came to an end on ITV tonight and we now know who won this year’s BGT after the results of the public vote.
In a tense announcement, host Dec announced that the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2018 was Lost Voice Guy, the show’s first ever comedian to win.
He’s won a spot on the Royal Variety Performance plus a £250,000 prize.
Lost Voice Guy is 37-year-old Lee Ridley who lives in Newcastle, were he works as a full-time stand-up comedian.
Lee has cerebral palsy, and after falling ill as a baby was left unable to speak. He uses a ‘text-to-speech’ app on his iPad to communicate.

The marathon final show began at 7:30PM this evening as eleven acts competed for victory.
The week saw five nights of live shows and 40 semi-final performances with two acts making it through to tonight’s final.
The 10 finalists were joined by one judges’ wildcard, the B-Positive Choir, who finished in third place in their semi-final.
They joined acrobat Giang Brothers and comedy singer Micky P Kerr, dancers DVJ, father and son singing duo Tim and Jack, comedian Robert White, singer Gruffydd Wyn Roberts, singer Donchez Dacres, singer Calum Courtney, comedian Lost Voice Guy and the D-Day Darlings in the final.
As always, the public vote alone determined the winner after lines opened via phone, mobile and the official BGT app. A total of 2.5 million votes were cast during the live show tonight.
