Who is Badger on The Masked Singer? Their identity has been revealed in the final!

The Masked Singer season 2 is airing Saturday nights on ITV.

The series sees famous faces fight to put on the best musical performance all while their identities are hidden behind elaborate masks and costumes.

One of the contestants on the competition this year is Badger who is stepping out of the sett but will they stand out from the crowd?

In the first episode, Badger performed Nina Simone’s Feeling Good before returning in week two with Aerosmith classic I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing. In week 3, Badger performed Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson while in four they sang Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus.

In week 5, Badger performed Grease by Frankie Valli and Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit. In the final, Badger performed Believer by Imagine Dragons.

Who is Badger on The Masked Singer?

In the final, Badger finished in second place and was revealed as superstar singer Ne-Yo.

Clues offered up by Badger throughout the series included that they’re used to being anonymous and seeing things like a virtual world.

Further clues suggested various links to poetry, hats and even Barbra Streisand. In the final, Badger revealed that “this has been my greatest role outside of Hollywood”.

In episode two, Badger offered up two lies and a truth: “I’m good at dodging furniture”, “When working I’m often found in green”, “Strictly speaking, dancing is something I’m well known for”.

Fans had correctly speculated Badger’s identity was Ne-Yo, pointing out his trademark hats and that he has previously performed in a tribute to Barbra Streisand.

Both Nicola Roberts and Rita Ora also correctly guessed Ne-Yo’s identity in the final episode.

The Masked Singer airs on ITV.

Other contestants taking part in the competition are Blob, Alien, Robin, Viking, Seahorse, Grandfather Clock, Swan, Harlequin, Bush Baby, Dragon and Sausage.
