Take That and LuLu joined the cast of their The Band Musical on stage this week.
The musical launched earlier this month to huge praise from fans, months after a BBC One series to decide the cast of the show.
Fronted by Gary Barlow, Let It Shine had been on the hunt for five guys to play the lead roles in the new musical based on the songs of Take That.
After seven weeks of singing, it was boy band Five To Five who won Let It Shine in the final back in February.
The group – made up of Curtis T Johns, AJ Bentley, Yazdan Qafouri, Sario Solomon and Nick Carsberg – topped the public vote.
They’ve been in rehearsals with Take That for the musical since the end of the TV show, which is currently playing in Manchester.
The boys play the role of the band members in The Band which follows five girls, who are fans of the group.
The additional cast includes Rachel Lumberg, Faye Christall, Alison Fitzjohn, Emily Joyce, Jayne McKenna, and Rachelle Diedericks.
At the end of Tuesday night’s official opening press launch, Take That’s Gary, Howard Donald and Mark Owen got on stage alongside the cast for a special performance.
And there was an extra guest as LuLu joined everyone on stage to sing her and Take That’s 90s hit Relight My Fire.
Earlier in Septemberfollowing the first ever public performance, praise quickly flooded Twitter for the new show.
One concluded simply: “THAT WAS F**KING AMAZING”, prompting Gary himself to respond and quip: “We’ll put that on the poster !! Xx”
Meanwhile, Five To Five tweeted after their first live show: “Thank you Manchester!!! Let’s do it all again tonight!! @TheBandMusical #TheBand #TheBandMusical #FiveToFive”
The Band Musical plays in Manchester throughout September before heading on tour across the rest of the UK.
