The Weakest Link will return to BBC One for a new series, it’s been confirmed.
Romesh Ranganathan will be back to host the show with brand new episodes.
The latest series will again feature line-ups of celebrity contestants who will attempt to win up to £50,000 for charity by answering general knowledge questions before only two remain and play head to head to determine the winner.
The series will feature a number of special themed episodes including Strictly Come Dancing, comedians, Gladiators, and duos, with more to be announced.
Romesh said: “It’s really a delight to be part of the BBC One Saturday night experience. I once again look forward to taking the credit if it goes well and blaming the format if it doesn’t”
Pete Ogden, Executive Producer BBC Studios Entertainment Productions added: “We’re so excited to be back with another series of The Weakest Link to entertain the nation with on a Saturday night. With the amazing Romesh back at the helm, we know there will be lots of laughs.
