Take Me Out reveals ‘gender swap’ special as series 10 is confirmed

Take Me Out has been confirmed for a landmark tenth series – alongside two new specials.

ITV has announced it’s now looking for singletons to be on the show, hosted by the King of dating, Paddy McGuinness.

Take Me Out Series 10 will air in 2018 and the new run will include two special episodes to celebrate 10 years of dating success.

In the main show, a new line up of ‘Flirty Thirty’ girls will be ready to meet the single boys taking a ride down the ‘Love Lift’, but who will be lucky enough to bag themselves a date on the sunny Isle of Fernando’s and be successful in their quest to find love?

The first of two specials will feature a line-up of thirty fabulous single older ladies looking for love, with applications inviting those over 50 to apply.

The second special will be Take Me Out’s first ever ‘gender swap’ show, as the role of the men and women are reversed.

Paddy ‘brings on the boys’ as he invites thirty of his favourite male contestants from past series return for another chance at finding ‘The One’. The show also celebrates the Take Me Out love matches created as Paddy reunites with the successes from previous series.

With seven weddings and three babies to come from the show, Paddy chats to the couples and reminisces about the moment their eyes met across the Take Me Out love lift.

Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness said: “I’m so excited to be celebrating ten series of Take Me Out. I always look forward to seeing romance blossom amongst a new line up of ladies and gents, including the over 50s!

“I’m also going to be catching up with the couples who got together after meeting on the show. Bring it on, let the tenth see the series!”

Suzy Lamb, Head of Entertainment, Thames and Executive Producer added: “I’m thrilled that Take Me Out will return to celebrate its tenth series. I’m sure there will be love matches a plenty if Paddy has anything to do with it and with two specials as well it’s set to be one of the best series yet.”

Take Me Out is currently looking for single boys and girls to appear on the next series. To apply, please go to http://www.itv.com/takemeout. If you are over 50 and would like to apply, please email Takemeoutspecial@thames.tv. Applications close on the 13th October.
