Strike: Lethal White is on its way to BBC One – here’s all you need to know.
It’s the fourth instalment in the TV adaptions of J.K. Rowling’s best-selling crime novels written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
The four part series has been written by Tom Edge and directed by Sue Tully.

Strike: Lethal White started on Sunday, August 30 on BBC One at 9PM.
Episode 2 followed the next day on Monday, August 31 at 9PM. The final two episodes will air on Sunday, September 6 and Sunday, September 13.

Strike: Lethal White cast
Tom Burke (The Souvenir, War And Peace) and Holliday Grainger (Animals, The Capture) will return to their roles as Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott respectively.
Natasha O’Keeffe (Peaky Blinders, Sherlock) and Kerr Logan (Alias Grace, London Irish) also return as Strike’s ex-girlfriend Charlotte Ross and Robin’s fiancé Matthew Cunliffe respectively.
Joining the cast for series 4 are Nick Blood as Jimmy Knight, Robert Glenister as Jasper Chiswell and Joseph Quinn as Billy Knight.

Series 4 of Strike has four episodes.
Episode 1 – August 30
Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott are back, and at odds following Robin’s wedding to Matthew. But there’s no time to mull on the new distance within their professional relationship, as a frightening visit from a potential client puts a new case on the table – and Robin and Strike set to work looking into reports of a strangled child.
With the detective agency thriving, the duo are also recruited to investigate the blackmail of a Government Minister and Robin is tasked with going undercover in the House of Commons.
Episode 2 – August 31
Strike and Robin’s startling discovery seems to confirm the story of the strangled child – but they’re forced to leave the scene before they can properly investigate. Fearing their witness is in danger, they redouble their efforts to find him. As Robin deals with frustrations in her marriage and Strike accepts a dependency on a new girlfriend, their investigation deepens.
The duo are taken all over London in pursuit of the truth, from a derelict warehouse filled with protestors to a high-society charity fundraiser. But ultimately, our favourite detectives are unable to stop another tragedy…
Episode 3 – September 6
Reeling after the events of last episode, Strike and Robin are even more determined to catch their culprit. Robin goes undercover once more to befriend a suspect, and puts herself in a dangerous situation to find a vital piece of evidence. Strike pieces together a theory by interviewing many of the key players in the case – but ends up fending off an attack in the process.
While Robin’s marriage reaches crisis point, Strike’s new romance isn’t going so well either. Robin and Strike regroup, and the person blackmailing of the Government Minister becomes their prime suspect – but they now believe that there was an accomplice…
Episode 4 – September 13
Whilst Robin struggles with changes in her personal life, she and Strike are able to provide some comfort to a grieving father. The pair interview more key players in the case and work closely with the police – still honing in on the blackmailer’s elusive accomplice.
After their trip to a manor estate narrowly avoids ending in disaster, Robin finally shares her personal struggles with Strike, and the pair reach a new understanding. As the police arrest a suspect, things finally click into place for Strike – but with his partner unwittingly walking into danger, the solving of the case might have come too late for Robin…
Strike continues Sunday nights at 9PM on BBC One.
