Strictly Come Dancing results and spoilers: Saffron Barker tops scores but who will go?

Here’s a spoiler-filled recap of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing 2019 latest live show.

So far three couples have left the competition – and tonight the remaining dancing duos performed a new selection of dazzling ballroom and Latin routines.

Tonight the 12 remaining couples each took to the floor in a bid to impress a slightly unusual judging panel: Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and this week’s special guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro, as well as the viewers at home.

Saffron Barker topped the scores this evening with a series high of 38 points for a Foxtrot that had the judges on their feet.

She eclipsed last week’s scoreboard leader Karim Zeroual who the panel said ‘set the bar even higher’ with a Salsa that scored 36 points.

Emma Weymouth, who was in the bottom two last weekend, made an epic comeback as she scored a personal best of 36 points for her “beautiful” Viennese Waltz.

Also bouncing back after ranking bottom of last week’s scoreboard was Alex Scott, scoring 33 points for her Charleston which was described as “absolutely unbelievable” by Craig.

She matched the scores of current favourite to win Kelvin Fletcher who continued to impress this week dancing the Cha Cha.

Meanwhile, Will Bayley scored 32 points for an “inspiring” contemporary routine that had Motsi in tears.

At the other end of the table, poor David James’ Jive was “full of mistakes” and saw him scoring 16 points to place bottom of the scores.

He was joined in the danger zone by Mike Bushell who scored 21 points for a Samba had that Craig “recoiling in horror from beginning to end”.

It could see the pair in danger of being in the dance off where last week it was Dev Griffin who left Strictly Come Dancing.
