Strictly Come Dancing results and spoilers: Danny John-Jules tops scores but who will go?

Here’s a spoiler-filled recap of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing 2018 latest live show.

So far three couples have left the competition – and tonight the remaining dancing duos performed a new selection of dazzling ballroom and Latin routines.

Tonight the 12 remaining couples each took to the floor in a bid to impress a slightly unusual judging panel: Shirley Ballas, Dame Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and this week’s special guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro, as well as the viewers at home.

Danny John-Jules and Amy Dowden topped the scoreboard after dancing the Jive to Flip, Flop and Fly by Ellis Hall. The routine was branded “extraordinary” by Darcey and “absolutely amazing” by Shirley and scored the first 10 of the series, for a total of 37 points.

Also proving a hit with the judges were Charles Venn and Karen Clifton with their Street and Commercial routine – a new genre to Strictly this year – to Get Up Off That Thing by James Brown. It scored them a personal best of 36 points, much needed after two weeks in the dance off.

Matching those marks were Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev with their Rumba to Something About The Way You Look Tonight by Elton John.

At the other end of the table, poor Vick Hope and Graziano Di Prima had “quite a disaster” with their Cha Cha to More Than Friends by James Hype feat. Kelli-Leigh, scoring 20 points to place bottom of the scores.

It could see the pair in danger of being in the dance off where last week it was Katie Piper who left Strictly Come Dancing.

Also at risk are Seann and Katya, who danced the Quickstep to Lightning Bolt by Jake Bugg, and Dr. Ranj and Janette, who performed the American Smooth to Wouldn’t It Be Nice by The Beach Boys, scoring 24 and 25 points respectively.

The total judges’ marks will now be combined with the results from the latest public vote tonight.

As always two celebrity couples in the bottom two of the overall rankings will find themselves having to dance again in tomorrow night’s (Sunday) results show.
