Here’s a spoiler-filled recap of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing 2018 latest live show.
So far six couples have left the competition – and tonight the remaining nine dancing duos performed a brand new set of routines in a bid to make Blackpool.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were back to host the show, as the celebs competed to make it through to the annual special at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom next Saturday.
The couples hit the dancefloor in order to try and win over judges Shirley Ballas, Dame Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood – as well as those watching at home.
The judges gave their scores out of 10 as usual which will be added to the viewers’ votes in Sunday’s results.
Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev were top of the scoreboard for another week, scoring a near-perfect 39 points. They had their Couples’ Choice routine, opting to perform a Contemporary dance to Unsteady which Ashley dedicated to her late father.
Bruno described the routine was “flawless” while the dance left Shirley on her feet and close to tears.
Ranking second on the leaderboard, Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice’s Jive to Reet Petite by Jackie Wilson split the judges. Bruno branded it “picture perfect” while Craig “loved it” but Shirley said she “expected more” from the Steps star.
Elsewhere, following a third appearance in the bottom two dance off last Sunday, Charles Venn and Karen Clifton scored their best marks yet with 35 points for a Charleston to No Diggity by Minimatic.
At the other end, Danny John-Jules and Amy Dowden found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard for a second week running after dancing the Samba.
Also in danger before the public votes are added are Kate Silverton and Aljaž Skorjanec. The pair upped their marks from last week with a Quickstep but it wasn’t enough to lift them out of the bottom two.
Danny and Kate are currently the favourites to find themselves in the dance-off but the public vote can change it all.

The total judges’ marks will now be combined with the results from the latest public vote tonight.
As always the celebrity couples in the bottom two of the overall rankings will find themselves having to dance again in tomorrow night’s (Sunday) results show.
