Here’s a spoiler-filled recap of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing 2018 Halloween live show.
So far four couples have left the competition – and tonight the remaining dancing duos performed a new selection of dazzling ballroom and Latin routines.
This weekend was the spookiest event in the Strictly Come Dancing calendar as Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman hosted the year’s Halloween Special.
The remaining couples in the competition got into the Halloween spirit and hit the dancefloor in a bid to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Dame Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.
As always, the judges decided who cast the best spell of the evening and their scores will be added to the viewers’ votes in Sunday’s results.
At the top of the leaderboard were popstars Faye Tozer and Ashley Roberts.
Ashley and Pasha Kovalev danced a Charleston to Witch Doctor by Don Lang which Bruno branded a standout of the series. Faye and Giovanni Pernice performed a Couple’s Choice Theatre & Jazz routine to Fever by Peggy Lee, which got an ‘A-MA-ZING’ from Craig.
Both walked away with 39 points, scoring 10s from all the judges bar Craig for the joint-highest marks of the series so far.
Also impressing tonight were Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell who did a Foxtrot to Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer, scoring a personal best of 35 points.
That was matched by Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton with their Doctor Who themed Tango which left all of the judges won over.
But at the other end of things there was a three-way tie at the bottom.
Kate Silverton and Aljaz Skorjanec’s Rumba to Skin by Rag’n’Bone Man, Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’ Viennese Waltz to I Put A Spell On You by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins and Dr. Ranj Singh and Janette Manrara’s Jive to Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett all scored just 20 points.
Seann, who was in the dance off last week, found himself given particularly harsh feedback with Craig suggesting he’d be back in the bottom two this weekend.

The total judges’ marks will now be combined with the results from the latest public vote tonight.
As always two celebrity couples in the bottom two of the overall rankings will find themselves having to dance again in tomorrow night’s (Sunday) results show.
