Here’s a first look at Emma Barton in training for Strictly Come Dancing’s live show.
Emma is an actress, best known as playing Honey Mitchell in the BBC One soap EastEnders on and off since 2005.
She is dancing with professional Anton du Beke on this year’s series.
In this first steps clip it’s revealed the pair will be dancing the Jive for the first live show.
“I’m having the best time,” exclaims Emma in the video.
"I can't imagine things going any better." @TheAntonDuBeke is seriously impressed with @EmmaBarton's #Strictly progress. Or it could just be the Jive talkin'

After the first day of training, Anton is impressed.
He tells the camera: “Oh my goodness. I cant imagine things going any better than this for a first session. I mean she came in and we were ready for Jive.
“Never in the history of my life on Strictly Come Dancing have I done that step.”
Emma adds: “It’s fun dancing every day. It’s like just going to a party. I just want to get out there and shake my thing.”
Meanwhile, speaking ahead of the first live show, Emma said: “I am the biggest Strictly fan so when the call came through and they said, ‘we would love to have you this year’ I thought, oh my goodness, that means I won’t be sitting at home with my glass of red wine watching it, I’m actually going to be doing it!
“It’s the best – it’s the classiest, and just one of the most well received show that you could do, so I would be really silly if I said no.
“You’re learning such an amazing craft from the best people in the business, and you get to dress up in the gorgeous costumes. It was a no-brainer really.”
Strictly 2019’s first live episode airs this Saturday night on BBC One.
Other celebrities competing on this year’s show alongside Emma include former England international goalkeeper David James, RuPaul Drag Race’s Michelle Visage, Paralympic champion Will Bayley and comedian Chris Ramsey.
She’s also joined by fellow soap stars Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley and Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher, who is a late replacement for injured Jamie Laing.
As usual, no one will leave the first week but the judges will still score the routines and the marks will carry over to the first elimination in week 2.
