Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed he watches THAT X Factor judges’ houses moment to keep himself “grounded”.
Rylan rose to fame on The X Factor in 2012 where he finished in fifth place.
An appearance in Celebrity Big Brother led Rylan into TV presenting, with upcoming gigs fronting Supermarket Sweep on ITV2 and Strictly Come Dancing’s It Takes Two spin-off on BBC Two.
He also has his own Radio 2 show and confessed this week that his success has left him pinching himself.
“I mean, I’m an X Factor reject presenting on Radio 2, what’s going on?” he said.
In an interview with the TV Times, Rylan said: “Once a year, I make myself watch that Judges’ Houses moment from X Factor. I hate it, and it will haunt me forever.
“But watching that keeps me grounded. I say, ‘This is what you wanted, you’ve got it, now use it’.”
Rylan is currently back on TV joining Zoe Ball on Strictly’s It Takes Two.
“I might as well just say, I’m going to be doing Mondays and Tuesdays,” he told ITV’s This Morning recently. “Zoe’s doing Wednesdays and Thursdays, and we’re both doing Fridays, which is fantastic.”
Meanwhile, Rylan replaced the late Dale Winton as frontman of classic game show Supermarket Sweep, which has been revived for the first time in twelve years.
It sees teams of two contestants play a variety of trivia games to add precious seconds to their clocks.
The brand new series recently aired weeknights on ITV2 and is available to catch up now on ITV Hub.
