Cheryl is reportedly looking for more TV work in favour of her music career.
The former Girls Aloud singer is already being tipped to return to The X Factor later in the year.
But The Sun says that Cheryl is looking for more telly gigs, and is set to sign with a new talent agency.
"Cheryl knows she cannot depend on music to give her the profile she craves," a source alleged to the tabloid today. “Her chart career is clearly stalling, so bagging high-impact TV roles has become the priority.
“She really needs some top gigs to return her to the standing she enjoyed during her first stint on The X Factor.”
BGT judge Alesha Dixon, Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo and Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse are also said to be working on the project.
And they're joined by Broadway performer and Glee star Matthew Morrison.
The show is rumoured to be called 'The Greatest Dancer' and could air on Saturday nights after a pilot episode was filmed at the start of the year.
The news follows reports that Cheryl is set to start 'final talks' to return to The X Factor.
The former judge - who appeared on the show between 2008 and 2010 and then again in 2014 and 2015 - is rumoured for another comeback.
“The bosses need to confirm how long the series will run for and what time it will air each week," an insider said in February. “Once those decisions are made and agreed, the bosses will have the green light to start talking to Cheryl officially and discuss contracts with her."
The X Factor will air on ITV later this year.
