The Love Islander, who was runner up on this year’s series with girlfriend Molly-Mae, could take to the ice rink next year.

The Daily Star newspaper reports that show bosses reckon he would prove a big hit with viewers.

A source shared: “ITV love Tommy and know he would provide great comedy as well as pull in the female viewers in skin-tight outfits on the ice.”

“We are seeing lots of celebrities ahead of the final line-up being confirmed,” they added.

Tommy may not be the only Love Islander from this year’s show to take to the ice in 2020.

It was reported earlier this week that winner Amber Gill is set to become the latest Love Island star to compete in the ice dancing competition, following Wes Nelson and Kem Cetinay.

According to The Sun, she’ll begin training later this year ahead of the show’s return to TV in the new year.

“The Dancing On Ice casting team are delighted with the decision to snap up Amber,” shared a source. “Love Island contestants always do really well on the series as they are still fresh in everyone’s minds.

“Amber is a stunning girl and they know she’ll look fabulous in all the sequinned costumes. She has a gutsy personality, too, so will make excellent viewing.”

Also rumoured for the new Dancing On Ice line up is TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent.

The reality star is set to follow in the footsteps of his on/off girlfriend Gemma Collins, who competed in the latest series.

Dancing On Ice typically begins in January on ITV.

It was former Strictly pro James Jordan who won Dancing On Ice’s latest series earlier in 2019, beating Love Island’s Wes Nelson and singer Saara Aalto in the final.
