9-year-old Keira Laver from Dagenham appeared in Saturday’s latest episode on ITV.

She performed for the new line up of coaches this year, made up of Will.i.am, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and coach Jessie J.

Keira sang a cover of Neverland from the Broadway musical Finding Neverland for her audition – and it got all four coaches to spin.

“But even if I don’t get one chair that turns for me, I’ll still keep on trying.”

With all the coaches to choose from, Keira opted to join Team Jessie for the battle rounds.

Meanwhile, backstage with host Emma Willis, the youngsters friends and family were left in tears.

The Voice Kids continues Saturday nights on ITV.

This year the competition is open to both talented young soloists and duos for the first time, with those aged between seven and 14 able to apply.

Those who make it through the blind auditions will head into the battles before the semi-finals.

The public will ultimately decide the winner in a live final later this year.
