Tonight was the penultimate bumper episode of try outs on ITV from 8PM.

Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell were back behind the judges’ desk with Ant & Dec watching on from backstage.

As well as seeing acts showing off their talents, this evening’s episode saw something extra special.

Jacob Jones appeared before the panel this evening to sing for the judges.

Put forward for the show by his partner, barber instructor Jacob performed Joe Cocker’s You Are So Beautiful for his audition.

He got four yeses from the judges but that wasn’t enough for him.

After his performance, he told the judges there was one more yes he wanted to get.

Inviting his girlfriend of two years Faye Compton on stage, Jacob surprised everyone as he got down on one knee and produces a ring.

He told her: “I love you literally more than anything and I’m so happy you believe in me. And I wanted to ask you something… will you marry me?”

As the judges and audience watched on, Faye thankfully said yes to the proposal.

Faye was left in tears, the judges got to their feet and Ant and Dec couldn’t hide their excitement as they jumped up and down from the sidelines.

Other acts on Britain’s Got Talent this weekend are cheeky dance duo Libby and Charlie and the Truro Cathedral Choir who sing for the judges, performing a cover of Can You Feel The Love Tonight?

We also meet Dr Dance, who wants to get the whole nation on their feet, young magician Dan Rhodes that tries to saw Amanda in half, and 31-year-old singer Leanne Mya from London.
