The Voice UK 2019 returned tonight for its third round of blind auditions.
Here's a full recap of all the performances, and who got through on which team.
Global music legends will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and returning Olly Murs are this year's coaches and on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer, with this year’s winner scooping a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.
As always, the first stage is the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches. After the first two weeks, Team Tom led the way with four acts while Team Jennifer and Team Olly had three acts apiece. Team Will had just the two acts on his team of ten.
Hoping to pick up the best singing talent, if the coaches like what they hear, they hit their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their line up. If more than one spins then it's up to the act to pick which team to join.
But if all the coaches fail to turn for an act they lose their right to see them. The act leaves stage immediately and the judges are left forever wondering if they should have hit their buttons.
Here's how the third round of blind auditions went down tonight...
Luke Swatman, a 35-year-old Road Traffic Management Controller from Worcester performed ‘Il Mare Calmo Della Sera’ by Andrea Bocelli. He got both Olly and JHud to turn, picking Team JHud to join.
27-year-old former Flight Attendant Christina Ellinas from Liverpool belted out ‘Lullaby’ by Sigala ft Paloma Faith to get Will, Sir Tom and Olly all turning. Christina chose to join Team Will.
17-year-old from Essex Lauz sang ‘A Little Less Conversation’ by Elvis for her blind audition but sadly got no turns from the coaches.
26-year-old Harrisen Larner-Main from Weston Super Mare performed ‘Have A Little Faith In Me’ by John Hiatt at the blind auditions. Olly and JHud both hit their buzzers and Harrisen chose to join Team Olly.
Holly Lefevre, a 23-year-old from Essex chose ‘You Are The Reason’ by Calum Scott as her blind audition song. Unfortunately, there were no turns from the coaches.
Jimmy Balito, aged 23 from Sussex, sang ‘Higher Love’ by Steve Winwood. He got both JHud and Sir Tom to turn and Jimmy chose to join Team Tom.
Nxt Gen, a trio made up of Cian, Sonny and Joel, all aged 21, sang ‘Cry Me a River’ by Justin Timberlake. Their vocals persuaded Will and Olly to both turn and they picked Team Will to join.
34-year-old Sarah Tucker from Essex performed ‘In My Blood’ by Shawn Mendes. All four coaches turned and she chose to join Team JHud.
The Voice UK 2019 continues Saturday nights on ITV.
