Trauma concluded its three-part series with just under 5 million viewers last night (February 14).
ITV’s new drama Trauma concluded with its third and final episode yesterday after being stripped across the week.
The three-part psychological thriller centres on the lives of two fathers, Dan and Jon, whose lives collide when Dan’s 15-year-old son Alex is stabbed and tragically dies in the trauma department attended by high-achieving consultant Jon Allerton, who is blamed for the death.
The first episode averaged 4.9 million viewers but numbers fell to 3.8 million for episode two. The third and final part bounced back up to 4.6 million, winning the 9PM slot.
Earlier on ITV, Britain’s Brightest Family continued with 3.5 million – up 200,000 on last week – while on BBC One 3.3 million watched Earth’s Natural Wonders.
In the soaps, Coronation Street had 6.7 million and 6.2 million viewers for its two episodes, with Emmerdale getting 6.3 million for its showing.
Finally, in the nightly reality TV battle, Celebs Go Dating dropped to 400,000 viewers, down 100,000 on Tuesday, while Survival Of the Fittest climbed up 50,000 to 350,000.
