Love Island’s Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames left reeling after viewer vote results

Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames are left reeling after the results of Love Island’s latest viewer vote.

On Friday, viewers were given the chance to vote for their favourite couple.

The official pairings in the vote were India Reynolds & Ovie Soko, Harley Brash & Chris Taylor, Anna Vakili & Jordan Hames, Molly-Mae Hague & Tommy Fury, Belle Hassan & Anton Danyluk, Maura Higgins & Curtis Pritchard, Amber Gill & Greg O’Shea and Francesca Allen & Michael Griffiths.

On Sunday it was revealed that Harley & Chris, Francesca & Michael and Anna & Jordan were voted the three least popular couples by viewers.

Michael and Francesca were ultimately dumped from the Island in last night’s results, after the safe couples voted who to save from those in the bottom three.

In tonight’s show, Anna and Jordan are reflecting on once again being left at risk, after receiving fewer votes than the other couples in the villa.

Speaking with Jordan in the lounge, Anna says: “This is the third time. How are we in the bottom three when we are the second strongest couple?”

Equally, Jordan is also perplexed by the results of the public vote. He admits: “I don’t actually know.”

However, Jordan is keen to reassure Anna. He says: “Don’t worry yourself about what other people think. What is the point in letting it get us down? When we get out of here, we’re going to have fun!”

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Jordan tells the camera: “Of course, being in the bottom three isn’t nice. It does upset me but I’m not going to let it get me down. I’ve been saved by the Islanders, which is unreal!

“The majority of people in here love us and that means a lot to me and I know it means a lot to Anna.”

Love Island 2019 is back this evening at 9PM on ITV2.

It’s just a week to go until the final takes place live next Monday.
