Love Island villa is haunted, claims former Islander

The Love Island villa is haunted, it’s been claimed by an ex-islander.

Joanna Chimonides left the villa last week after a shock twist saw the Islanders forced to decide between her and Michael Griffiths.

Now away from the island, Joanna has revealed that there was more than relationship drama in the villa.

She claimed: “We had some weird stuff happen in the villa while I was there. We think the place is haunted.”

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about her supernatural experiences, Joanna shared: “One time, Jourdan was convinced she had seen a ghost. She said she had been woken up suddenly and there was this blonde woman bent over her bed and rocking back and forwards. She said it looked like Belle [Hassan] but of course it wasn’t her.”

She elaborated: “I said to her, ‘Did you actually see a ghost?’ and she was totally convinced. It freaked us all out.”

Meanwhile, Joanna has reacted to Michael’s attempts to rekindle his relationship with Amber Gill after she was eliminated.

“It’s hard for me to watch this right now I’m not gonna lie,” Joanna posted to social media during Friday night’s episode.

Michael shared his feelings about Amber, telling the boys: “Now that Joanna has gone, it has given me time to think about things… and I realise I do like Amber.

“I’m not saying I don’t like Joanna, because I do. But I feel like because Joanna was there I actively avoided Amber.”

However Amber refused to recouple with Michael, instead choosing to couple up with new boy Greg.

She said: “I’ve got another guy that’s came in and put a smile back on my face when I’ve been miserable.”

Love Island 2019 continues nightly at 9PM on ITV2.

Another dumping will take place on Sunday night.

The current fifth series concludes on Monday, July 29.
