Love Island reunion trailer revealed – just as Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham split

A first look at the Love Island Christmas reunion has been revealed – just as Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham announce their split.

Love Island winners Jack and Dani split yesterday after six months together.

In a statement on Instagram, Dani told fans: “Jack & I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible 6 months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly we’ve come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term.

“We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x”

However they will still appear together in Love Island’s upcoming reunion show.

A short trailer which aired this week shows the couple dancing and exchanging presents.

Recorded last month, ITV2 will air Love Island: The Christmas Reunion on December 17 as host Caroline Flack reunites nineteen of its most talked about Islanders as they gather for the ultimate festive get together.

Alongside Jack and Dani, contestants appearing will include finalists Wes and Megan, and Kaz (boyfriend Josh is away in the USA).

Meanwhile, how will estranged couples Laura and Paul, Georgia and Sam and Ellie and Charlie react as they come face to face?

Samira, Dr Alex, Alexandra, Kendall, Hayley and Eyal are also back to update on whether they’ve had more luck in love outside the villa. And are Adam and Zara still living a happy ever after?

The air date for Love Island: The Christmas Reunion has been confirmed as Monday, December 17 at 9PM on ITV2.

It’s not just Love Island’s Christmas reunion that is set to prove awkward for Jack and Dani.

Just two weeks ago, they excitedly took to their social media accounts to announce they would be hosting red carpet coverage for the National Television Awards.

Sharing a snap of the pair together, Jack said: “So excited to reveal the news that myself and @danidyerxx we are going to be the National Television Awards 2019 Social Media Hosts #NTAs”

Dani added: “Amazing news… we are going to be the National Television Awards 2019 Social Media Hosts! #NTAs”

It’s not yet been announced if they’ll continue to take part in the awards, due to air in January.
