Love Island 2018 results: Dumped Islanders react to their exits

Love Island 2018’s axed contestants have reacted to their exits from the villa this evening.

Tonight’s Love Island results saw a mass dumping with four Islanders sent home.

It was Adam Collard, Darylle Sargeant, Ellie Jones and Alex Miller who left Love Island after a shock twist.

Singletons Wes and Georgia had the power to save two of the Islanders in the bottom three couples by partnering up with them.

After much deliberation, Georgia decided to couple up with Sam and Wes decided to couple up with Megan, saving these two Islanders from being dumped.

Reacting to her exit, Darylle said: “I’m fine, obviously I’m gutted but at the same time I kind of feel like there is no right or wrong time to leave. I’m happy, I’ve had the most amazing experience. I’ve walked out with some amazing people, I have no complaints.”

Ellie added: “I am sad because you form a bond with people. But I did miss home. I missed my best friend. In a way I was ready but at the same time I wouldn’t have minded staying.”

She said she’d happily return to the villa if given he chance, saying: “Maybe I’d be more ballsy if I went back in. I fancied people in there and thought ‘I can’t do it’ because I didn’t want to step on anyone else’s toes.

“But I think you have to do it for yourself. But when you’re in the group, you don’t want to upset people, so it’s easier said than done.”

Original Islander Adam said: “I am excited to see what’s to come. I’m obviously gutted to leave some of my friends because I do really think that I’ve made some good friends for life but I’m looking forward to seeing what is to come. And I’m looking forward to seeing Zara and my family and friends.

“Zara said something along the lines of ‘I’ll be waiting outside, I’ll be waiting with ten thousand or twenty thousand kisses.’ I do really, really want to see her, I’m excited for that.”

And he ruled a return, explaining: “No I wouldn’t go back in there now. I want to see Zara. That is my priority now. I was ready to come out, especially when I knew I had feelings for Zara.”

Finally, Alex reacted: “It’s a bit gutting leaving, especially leaving someone I had a connection with in there. It would have been easier if it had been Megan’s choice, and not a choice that got taken out of both of our hands. I could have dealt with that better.”

Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
