Louis Tomlinson has revealed his new single Two Of Us will be out on March 7.
The One Direction star and X Factor judge will drop his latest track next Thursday, he announced on social media.
“Now then ! #TwoOfUs is out on March 7th,” he tweeted alongside artwork for the single, “It’s coming !”
Louis wrote in a note to fans: “Right then, let me start by saying your patience and loyal support has been incredible!
“I feel like I’ve been waiting a while for you guys to hear this so I hope you love it as much as I do. My new single ‘Two of Us’ will be released on the 7th of March. Let’s make this huge! Thank you for everything.”
You can pre-order and pre-save the track HERE.
The song will be an emotional one, with Louis singing about the tragic loss of his mum in 2016 as a result of leukaemia
“I just feel like, musically, I almost needed to get this song off my chest,” Louis said in an interview with House Of Solo magazine. “People say writing is a part of therapy. In a way, I feel like I’d been avoiding writing this song because I knew I only had one chance to get it right.
“I don’t mean to be too soppy but if Two Of Us can help just one other person who’s going through the tough time I went through, that would make me really happy.”
The song is the third to be taken from Louis’ debut album, which is expected to be out later in 2019.
Speaking back in December last year, Louis explained to X Factor’s own host Dermot O’Leary on his BBC Radio 2 show about the record: “I’m a bit pedantic about this, I want it to be value for money so it’s going to be as many tracks as I can possibly get on it.
“I want to get it close to 18 for the deluxe.”
He added: “It’s been a long process but I’m a proper perfectionist and I have a few more songs that I need and want to write. It’s more about the type of artist I am.”
