Louis Tomlinson to debut emotional new song on The X Factor final

Louis Tomlinson will perform his brand new single on The X Factor 2017 final this weekend.

The former One Direction singer will be taking to the stage on Saturday, a year on following his performance on last year’s show.

Louis will debut a new song called Miss You, written about “the girl that I loved”.

“I wrote this song about a time in my life when I was going out partying every night,” Louis told The Sun newspaper. “In hindsight throughout that time I was pretty numb and just going through the motions.

“Deep down it was always in the back of my mind that what I really missed was the girl that I loved.”

The track will be made available to download on Friday before Louis’ performance.

Meanwhile, the final three contestants competing for X Factor victory have been confirmed after the semi-final.

Matt Linnen was voted off on Saturday while, with the fewest votes on Sunday, both Lloyd Macey and The CutKelvins were next to leave the competition.

And with the most votes, Rak Su, Grace Davies and Kevin Davy White are through to next weekend’s grand final.

Right now, Rak Su are the favourites to win the competition but viewer votes alone will determine winner on the night.

The X Factor 2017 returns next weekend, December 2 and 3, for the grand final live at the ExCel centre.

The final three will be singing live a number of times and there will be a host of guests, including Little Mix and Sam Smith.

The X Factor 2017 final airs on Saturday night from 7:05PM and continues Sunday at 7:30PM.
