Jake Quickenden to sing on the Dancing On Ice live tour

The Dancing On Ice 2018 live tour begins to day and Jake Quickenden will have a starring role.

The winner of the TV series says he’ll not only be skating but also SINGING.

Former X Factor finalist Jake spilled the secret during a chat on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

“There are a few little surprises in there (the tour),” he said.

Jake, who beat Brooke Vincent in the final earlier this month, added: “I actually sing a little bit as well. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that.”

Another routine will see the men of the tour line up skate topless.

“We’re just skating around and it’s like a Chippendales thing. We’re in the mirror, shining our abs up,” Jake laughed.

“It’s full-on. We’ve been doing 13-hour days … Hopefully there are going to be no falls,” he added.

Jake is joined on the tour line up by Bucks Fizz legend Cheryl Baker, media personality Donna Air, rugby ace Max Evans, Love Island’s Kem Cetinay, ITV weatherman Alex Beresford and two-time Dancing on Ice champion Ray Quinn.

This year’s comeback tour will also feature a special guest judge; TV and West End star Denise Van Outen, who will join the ice panel hot on the heels of her judging duties on Ireland’s Got Talent.

Denise and the celebrity contestants will be joining Dancing on Ice Head Judges and live tour hosts, skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, on the road this spring when the Dancing on Ice Live UK Tour skates up and down the country.

The Dancing On Ice live tour begins tonight (March 23) in London before moving to Sheffield, Newcastle and Manchester over the next week.
