Jacqueline Jossa rumoured for I’m A Celebrity 2019 line up

Jacqueline Jossa has been tipped to take part in I’m A Celebrity’s new series for 2019.

The soap star recently bowed out of EastEnders and is now looking for a rather different challenge.

While she was originally tipped for Celebrity X Factor, Jacqueline may now be heading into the Aussie jungle.

A source shared to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jacqueline will not be appearing in on Celebrity X Factor. She did have initial meetings about the possibility but it was decided that things wouldn’t be taken any further.

“As a result she had also sat down with ITV about the prospect of going on I’m A Celeb.

“As ever, line-ups aren’t locked in until closer the time but it is looking more than likely she will be heading Down Under.”

Last year Jacqueline confessed she’d love to take part in the show.

Speaking to OK! magazine in 2018, the actress revealed: “I was asked about doing I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last year but I couldn’t do it as I was contracted to EastEnders.”

She added: “I would definitely consider it in the future, but I don’t know if I could leave my family for that long.”

Other names rumoured for I’m A Celebrity in 2019 already have been Football pundit Ian Wright, Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and The Saturday’s Frankie Bridge. Frankie’s husband Wayne previously took part in 2016.

“Wayne would love for me to do I’m A Celeb,” Frankie said in January. “He had such an amazing time on the show and would love for me to experience it.”

It was previously confirmed that Ant would return alongside Dec for the next series of I’m A Celebrity in the autumn.

Describing Holly’s appearance as a definite “one-off”, Ant said: “I was thankful that it was her because she was looking after my mate out there and looking after the show.”

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here typically airs on ITV from November.
