I’m A Celebrity’s Kiosk Kev has returned for the 2019 series.
He is the replacement for Kiosk Keith, who left the show in 2018.
Fan favourite Kiosk Keith, who used to run the jungle’s Outback Shack, had been a regular on the ITV show for four years.
But it was reported last year that he had been let go after allegations of “inappropriate behaviour”.
ITV confirmed at the time that Kiosk Keith – real name Raymond – would no longer be appearing on I’m A Celebrity in the UK.
Taking over the role was Kiosk Kev who looks just as menacing but sports a big, bushy beard.
“Kev won’t take any nonsense from the celebrities, and he looks very intimidating!” ITV said of Kev when he was first introduced in 2018. “The celebs from previous series who thought Kiosk Keith was scary won’t know how lucky they were – Kiosk Kev is truly terrifying.”
Like Kiosk Keith, Kev is a man of few words and doesn’t speak.
He’ll be on hand to offer up treats to the celebrities, so long as they can win dingo dollars in daily challenges.
The dollars can be exchanged for a range of luxuries, from popcorn to strawberries, if the contestants correctly answer a question.
Kiosk Kev’s real name
Kiosk Kev is really Mark Herlaar, also known as the Aussie Tarzan.
You can follow him on Instagram @markherlaar here where he has over 3,300 followers.
The new series of I’m A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV.
This year’s celebrities include ex footballer and broadcaster Ian Wright MBE; pop star Nadine Coyle; ‘Rak-Su’ singer Myles Stephenson; Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts; comedian Andrew Maxwell and soap star Jacqueline Jossa.
They’re joined by Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp; Olympian and TV personality Caitlyn Jenner; ex-England rugby player James Haskell; and TV and radio presenter Kate Garraway.
Ant and Dec host the series.
