Former I’m A Celebrity stars could return to the show for the 2020 series.
I’m A Celebrity will be back on ITV soon and there could be some familiar faces in camp.
It’s claimed that show bosses are keen to bring back some past contestants to appear in this year’s bushtucker trials or in new twists.
The likes of Joe Swash, Joey Essex, Vicky Pattison and Charlie Brooks are all tipped to take part, reports The Sun newspaper.
“What better way to celebrate 20 series of the show than getting some of the stars of yesteryear to take part in some way?” a source shared.
The insider said that the former campers have been isolating in line with the latest guidelines in order to enter camp.
It follows ITV confirming that the location of this year’s show will move from Australia to Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to the pandemic.
It was previously rumoured that this year’s trials could have a ‘medieval’ theme to suit the new surroundings.
Meanwhile the winner is set to be crowned King or Queen of the Castle rather than the jungle to reflect the new location.
For now, watch this space!
Those confirmed for the 2020 I’m A Celebrity line up currently include Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, author & podcaster Giovanna Fletcher, former Strictly pro AJ Pritchard, Corrie icon Beverley Callard and broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire.
Also linked to the cast are Paralympian Hollie Arnold, Star of Stage & Screen Shane Richie, TV presenter Vernon Kay, Actress Jessica Plummer and Olympic runner Sir Mo Farah.
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here will air on ITV from Sunday 15 November.
Fronted by Ant and Dec, the show will air nightly for around three weeks.
