I’m A Celebrity 2019: Caitlyn Jenner spills the beans on her calls with Donald Trump

Caitlyn Jenner has dished on her phone calls with President Trump in the I’m A Celebrity camp.

Caitlyn has been surprisingly candid on the ITV reality show, opening up about her gender transition, life with the Kardashians and even the OJ Simpson case.

Yesterday her revelations became political when the group pondered which famous faces they’d trade places with for 24 hours.

Kate Garraway said she’d want to swap with Trump and get a taste of life as leader of the United States.

“I don’t want to look like him and I don’t want his body,” she explained.

“It’s a world where you don’t know what his day is like, try out a day in his life would be amazing. Just to see what it’s like waking up in the White House.”

Her admission led Caitlyn to share details on her interactions with the President.

The Olympic champion voted for Trump in 2016, but has since criticised his anti-transgender policies.

“He never stops working,” she claimed. “He called me on Father’s Day, 9 o’clock at the White House, 6 o’clock at my house.

“Sophia [Hutchins, Caitlyn’s friend] didn’t recognise the voice, and he said ‘tell her it’s Caitlyn’s favourite president’.”

Meanwhile, Roman Kemp expressed a desire to experience Jay-Z’s lifestyle.

“Imagine waking up, Beyoncé is your wife, you are a billionaire, you go on stage that night play Madison Square Garden,” he commented.

“One of the coolest blokes in the world, it would be wicked.”

However, the radio DJ almost put his foot in it when Caitlyn wondered if he’d swap with her son-in-law, Kanye West.

“Jay-Z lives a quieter life than Kanye, it’s quite a subtle life, he doesn’t say much,” he continued.

Fortunately, Caitlyn bought his reasoning. “Oh, I agree with that,” she replied.

In the Bush Telegraph, Roman smirked: “That’s quite awkward.

“Let me tell you, it was an odd one to be pressured by the parent of Kim Kardashian as to why I wouldn’t trade places with her husband!”

Later in the day, talk turned to a very different kind of trump, as the celebs discussed which smells they’re missing from home after nearly three weeks in Australia.

While Jacqueline Jossa couldn’t wait to smell her husband Dan Osborne’s aftershave, Kate had an embarrassing confession about her spouse, Derek Draper.

“I might even like the smell of Derek’s trumps now,” she smirked. “I usually tell him off for it, but he does like a trump.

“He names them all – ‘that was a bugle’. How can you get so much pleasure from the passing of wind?!”

Nadine Coyle observed: “I think that’s got to be love.

“I personally was gagging but I’m really happy for Kate!”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9.20pm on ITV ahead of Sunday’s grand final.

Spin-off Extra Camp immediately follows the main show on ITV2.
