Honey G wants to return to X Factor for ‘All Star’ series

Honey G has put herself forward for The X Factor’s All Star series line up.

A potential X Factor All Stars spin-off is said to be in the works for this year in place of the usual series.

Show boss Simon Cowell announced the plans earlier in the Spring, with a series featuring a line up of past contestants.

Honey G says she is up for a return and thinks it’s “what the people want” too.

“I tick all the boxes,” said Honey G, who appeared on The X Factor in 2016.

She told The Sun newspaper: “Give the people what they want and what the people want is Honey G.

“Nobody wants to see any one song a power ballad. My prediction is if they do that they’ll stick with the low ratings.

“I think I am their best shot at getting Christmas No1.”

Following her time on The X Factor, Honey G released a number of singles including The Honey G Show.

“I should be in the charts consistently getting chart hits,” she said. “Every time I go on that stage I feel like I was born to be here.”

Alongside Honey G, 2010 contestant Wagner has also put himself forward for the upcoming All Stars show.

He told The Sun: “I think X Factor could do with some more interesting acts, not serious people who sing like they are suffering or dying.

Wagner, who despite not coming close to winning has become one of the show’s most iconic acts, added: “I’ll bring the fun. When I’m on stage I love it. I’m 63 but I feel really young.”

As yet no names have been confirmed for The X Factor’s All Star line up, but rumour has it that Simon is keen to get a number of winners back including both Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward.

Also said to be in talks include the likes of Chico, Same Difference and Jedward.

Meanwhile, the judging panel is reported to also feature a line up of ‘all star judges’ from past series after both Ayda and Robbie Williams quit.

It was recently rumoured that Simon was in talks to get Dannii Minogue back on the panel.

The likes of Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger have also been touted as possible judges for the special series.

The X Factor typically airs from September on ITV although scheduling for the 2019 series has yet to be announced.
