Soap star Hayley Tamaddon says she wants to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The actress previously appeared in two series of Dancing On Ice, last competing in the All Stars special in 2014.
Now she’s eyeing up another reality TV challenge.
Hayley told the Daily Express newspaper: “I would love to, before I get any older, go on Strictly.”
And she’s already chosen a pro partner, adding: “I would love to be partnered with Kevin Clifton because he’s amazing.”
The Emmerdale and Coronation Street star said she hadn’t yet been asked to be on the show, suggesting: “I think it might be because I did Dancing On Ice and maybe they think, she can dance, but I’ve never done Ballroom in my life.”
“I’d give it a go, I can’t bend down to the floor anymore but I can easily give it a go,” she added.
While Strictly’s 2018 series still has a while to go before launching, a whole number of celebs have been linked to the series.
One of the names Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly “desperate” to sign is X Factor star turned TV host Rylan Clark-Neal.
Hollyoaks star turned Oscar winner Rachel Shenton and The Chase’s Mark Labbett have also been tipped to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, alongside former England footballer David James and Actress Michelle Keegan.
More rumoured celebs include The 2015 Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussein, TV actor Les Dennis, boxing legend Frank Bruno and even This Morning’s own host Holly Willoughby. Despite hosting Dancing On Ice, she said: “I’m obsessed with Strictly, so I’d love to learn to dance.”
Strictly Come Dancing will begin on BBC One in the autumn.
The line up is typically confirmed around August/September
