Future Food Stars has concluded its first series on BBC One – here are the contestants taking part and results.

Future Food Stars sees Gordon Ramsay on the hunt for the UK’s most exciting new food and drink business.

The series will see the TV chef putting 12 entrepreneurs through a series of challenges as they compete to win his £150,000 investment.

After taking on a weekly task, they’ll come face-to face with Gordon as he grills them on their performance. Only the ones who impress will continue on the show and in with the chance of securing Gordon’s investment.

Future Food Stars spoilers

In the eighth episode (19 May), it’s the final, and tonight Gordon Ramsay will choose his future food star. After eight intense weeks of gruelling challenges, Gordon knows that all his finalists have what it takes to partner up with him. It’s now time to drill down on their businesses and find out whose product is worthy of his £150,000 endorsement.

As a shrewd businessman, Gordon has spotted areas of improvement in each of the finalists’ brands and introduces them to world-renowned experts who can help turn their products around and take them to the next level. He has secretly invited some of the country’s biggest brands to the final launch, so each product must stand up to the toughest scrutiny.

Then, the finalists face the most dramatic grilling of their lives, as each of them try to convince Gordon to back them. Who will hold their nerve, win Gordon’s £150,000 investment and become his first ever future food star?
