Fearne Cotton is leaving Celebrity Juice after ten years, she has confirmed.
The radio host and TV presenter has announced she will be stepping down from the ITV2 show.
Fearne tweeted this week: “After ten years on celebrity juice I am leaving. I walk away with so many incredible memories and will miss everyone in front of and behind the cameras so much. So much love and luck to them all for future series x”
The official Celebrity Juice Twitter responded to the news: “Bye Bye @Fearnecotton Thanks for an amazing 10 years. We love you Cotton Chops and we’ll miss you!”
Keith Lemon also posted on social media: “End of an era! Gonna miss @fearnecotton Fanks for the fun times. Love you deeply! Good luck with your next chapter! I hope one day we’ll play again. But the show must go on.”
The Sun reported that Fearne left the show to focus on upcoming TV projects.
“Fearne has loved doing Celebrity Juice — it’s been a big part of her life,” a source said. “However, her career has taken a new turn in a different direction with the success of her books, such as Happy and Quiet, plus her wellbeing podcast Happy Place.
“She also has a new BBC series starting in the spring, called Project Interiors. It felt like the right time to move on and to focus on other parts of her career.
Fearne said in a statement: “After ten years of complete fun, I have decided to leave Celebrity Juice.
“It has been a joy to be part of this magnificent show and I wish the team the very best in future series.”
Keith will be back on Celebrity Juice with Holly Willoughby and a new team captain to be revealed soon.
The new series will air on ITV2 in March, 2019.
