A new version of Family Fortunes has arrived on ITV with a brand new host.

The hit game show made its debut in 1980 hosted by Bob Monkhouse and last aired as a celebrity series in 2015, hosted by Vernon Kay.

Now the format is set for a revival with Gino D’Acampo at the helm.

A brand new ten-episode series of the much-loved game show started on TV on Sunday, September 20 at 8PM on ITV.

Episodes will air weekly on Sunday nights for nine weeks.

You’ll be able to watch episodes online as they air or catch up after via the ITV Hub.

You can also catch up on past episodes of the new series with Amazon Prime Video and ITVHub+.

Family Fortunes episodes

In each instalment, two families go head to head as they try to name the post popular answer to survey-based questions posed to 100 people, with a chance to win a £30,000 jackpot prize.

The new Family Fortunes keeps the classic features of the original we all know and love with the families playing for the chance to win single, double and of course, ‘big money’ through the game play, as well as the added bonus of winning additional prizes along the way.

The series will also see two celebrity specials with some familiar faces and their families hoping to secure big money for their chosen charities.

Gino said: “I am delighted that ITV asked me to be the host that is bringing back Family Fortunes to the British public, following in the footsteps of some legendary presenters.

“It’s a much beloved show in the USA, and around the world, and I cannot wait to get going and add more laughs to this format.”

“Gino will be an incredible and brilliantly unpredictable host and we’re delighted he’s taking the reins. What better time is there to bring back this family-based extravaganza!”

Alongside Family Fortunes, ITV is also bringing back The Cube with a new twist.

Hosted by Philip Schofield, pairs will now be competing with the top prize upped to a whopping £1 million.

It will also begin later this year on 2020.
