Diversity star Perri Kiely and Steps’ Ian ‘H’ Watkins have become the latest rumoured signings for Dancing On Ice’s new series.
Dancer Perri rose to fame as part of winning dance troupe Diversity on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.
He’s since appeared on other reality shows such as Celebs Go Dating and Splash!
Now, Perri is reportedly lined up for Dancing On Ice in the new year.
“Bosses are over the moon they’ve managed to land Perri for the new series,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “He’s got bucket loads of personality and they’re convinced he’ll bring great energy to the show.
“There’s also no doubt he’ll be able to pull off some amazing moves. If he can do the stunts on ice too he stands a great chance of winning.”
If he does take part, Perri will face his pal and fellow Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo on the panel.
Ashley sits alongside skating pros Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill on the Dancing On Ice judging line up.
They’ll be joined by new judge for 2020, John Barrowman MBE who replaces Jason Gardiner.
Meanwhile, Steps star Ian ‘H’ Watkins is also said to be lined up for the show for next year.
“He won a legion of fans in his Steps days with his cheesy dance moves and he could do it all over again by recreating them on the ice,” a source said, “Bosses think he’d be hilarious.”
Other names rumoured for the Dancing On Ice 2020 line up are singer and TV personality Michelle Heaton, TV entertainer Michael Barrymore and Love Island’s Maura Higgins.
Speaking about the rumours recently, Maura said: “I have heard but I have heard a lot about things I am supposed to be on. Who knows? I’m taking every day as it comes. There are a lot of exciting opportunities there. I can’t comment on anything because I really don’t know.”
Dancing On Ice typically airs from January on ITV.
