The Dancing On Ice 2020 line up of pros revealed

Dancing on Ice has confirmed the line up of professional skaters for the 2020 series.

The new pro line up includes many familiar faces plus some new skaters making their Dancing On Ice debut.

Series stalwart Matt Evers, who has appeared in every series since the show launched on ITV in 2006, returns.

Last year’s champion Alexandra Schauman, who won the last series with celeb partner James Jordan, is back alongside husband Lukasz Rozycki. Fellow husband and wife team Alexander Demetriou and Carlotta Edwards also return to the ice.

Series favourites Brianne Delcourt, Mark Hanretty, Hamish Gaman, Vanessa Bauer and Alex Murphy will also take their place alongside the class of 2020.

New additions to the line up are Doctor and Orthopaedic Surgeon Tom Naylor, and Disney on Ice performer Brendyn Hatfield.

Meanwhile, Brendyn’s wife Jessica Hatfield will also feature in the line up as reserve skater, while Sylvain Longchambon and Patti Quinn will appear in select group numbers.

The celebrity contestants on Dancing On Ice 2020 were revealed earlier this year.

They include TV presenter and former I’m A Celebrity winner Joe Swash, TV entertainer Michael Barrymore, 2019 Love Island contestant Maura Higgins and Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins.

Joining them are TV personality and chat show legend Trisha Goddard, American actress model, TV personality Caprice, Diversity dancer Perri Kiely and soap star Lisa George.

Completing the starting cast are footballer Kevin Kilbane, ITV newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, Paralympic sprinter Libby Clegg and TV magician Ben Hanlin.

Dancing On Ice will launch later this year on ITV with a special Christmas episode where the the celebrity and professional skaters will be seen on the ice for the first time.

The one off Christmas extravaganza will feature another show stopping performance from ice legends Torvill and Dean, as well as performances from some of Dancing on Ice’s most popular alumni, including Ray Quinn and Jake Quickenden.

Dancing On Ice’s live shows will then begin from January 2020.
